The Readerboard
The Readerboard FactoryWidget® displays data and information in a message board type display, similar to what is typically seen hanging from shop floors in the form of LED displays and other proprietary hardware.
The data displayed in the Readerboard will be the value of an item in your Data Source.
The Readerboard can change color based on a bit in your Data Source. This is done by configuring one or both of the priority settings. You can also make the text blink based on this priority bit becoming true.
You can configure a link to display any web page when the user clicks on the value on the Readerboard.

Configuring the Readerboard takes just seconds
- Configure the name of your WidgetServer that is connected to your data source
- Specify a Tagname in your Data Source that you wish to display.
- Set the refresh rate (5 seconds to 90 seconds)
- Set the Text Alignment (Center, Right or Left)
- Set the Size of the Readerboard (256x25, 1024x100, 1280x100 or 1920x200)
- Set the Tagname for the Flag in Priority 1 and/or Priority 2 and be sure it is enabled.
- Set the Color of the Widget when your Priority bit becomes True. You also have the option to make the text flash.
- Set the title and tooltip
- Set an optional User-defined Web Link
- Click OK and you’ll see Live data!
You can save your configuration to share with others or in case you have to reload your computer using the save icon. Saved configurations are stored on the WidgetServer. (Click to learn more about global and saved configurations)
