WidgetServer Operating System Support
The WidgetServer application may run on the same computer as your data source or a separate PC as shown here. The application has minimal memory, disk space, and processing requirements (specifications).
- Windows Server 2003 x86, x64, including R2 & SP2

- Windows XP SP3*
- Windows 7 (Professional, Ultimate, Enterprise)*
- Windows Vista (Business, Enterprise, Ultimate)*
*Note: If you run the WidgetServer on a desktop class operating system, the operating system may limit the number of concurrent network connections to the WidgetServer to 10, which may limit the number of FactoryWidgets connected to the WidgetServer at one time to 10. Run the WidgetServer on a supported server class operating system to avoid these operating system-imposed limitations.
